These are amazing sheets. Very heavy, true to color and fit. They come with a 5 year warranty, as well. I've bought Egyptian Cotton sheets before. They feel stiff at first. If you google the care of 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets, you'll see that there is a certain way to wash them the first time (1/2 detergent, no fabric softener, no dryer sheet), and that they soften incredibly with time. My other pairs of Egyptian Cotton sheets felt amazing after about 10 washes, and feel heavenly after about 40 or so. Its difficult to say how much any Egyptian Cotton sheets will soften, however these are nice and heavy, and color rich...and give all the promise of softening just like my other ones did.
