We needed a good 1080p HD doorbell camera setup that didn't require a subscription to store our collected footage. This camera came with a 32gb SD card and a rechargeable battery. It's been 5 days since we installed this and we are down to 75% battery life left. It could be more, but we did activate the live camera a lot the first two days. We love the WiFi and phone app feature so we can get notifications of activity. After the account is made you can share the device with other household members. The highest sensitivity option picks up footage about 5 feet away from the camera, but we wish it could activate further away. The installment was above average because we had to drill it into brick. We purchased some masonry bits and measured out our holes. The bracket holder is nice and secure with the added security screw behind the camera. It does come with 3M tape, but somebody could easily steal the whole system if that was used. You can view all of the footage on your account until the SD card is full, I think. That way if the system is stolen or damaged you might still have access to it, possibly. The installment of the app and camera was easy with the proper WiFi channel (not 5G). The USB chime connected instantly after following directions. There are 4 different chime tones on the app to choose from. We have ours setup at the front door. The chime activates as soon as the bell is pushed. A "phone call" is sent to your phone to answer if you are not at home or didn't hear the chime while at home. You can record and save each clipped footage at your own discretion before reformatting (emptying) the full SD card. The night-vision is a lower quality than during the day, but still has a high resolution to monitor and record. Remember to activate HD mode when viewing the live footage. We will update this 6 months to a year from now if any positive or negative issues happen to help future buyers.
