GREAT blender, a reviewer below is plain fabricating their review
Super annoyed by the bevy of inaccuracies in the first review seen on this review page, which is a one star and wildly inaccurate, so I had to chime in. Just got this myself in Cloud White, which is matte white, about a month ago. It is great! I don't know why someone would bother to write a detailed review of false information, but I've brought the "receipts" so to speak, by attaching the photos to show that she or he is simply lying in that review. 1. The blender bottles are heavy duty PLASTIC, clear Tritan plastic that does not break, with grippy silicone ends. The 1000ml is a bit wide in my female hands and the 500ml is the same bit too wide and also too short, so I am buying the 800, which will also be too wide most likely since the blender is the same width, and just shorter than the 1000 but taller than the 500. Will that help? no. See photo, my hand only fits about half way around the small blender bottle, vs. the narrower glass water bottle. 2. The lids that come with are two solid lids for fridge storage and a replacement lid with a smaller opening to SIP out of or easily INSERT A STRAW, contrary to that reviewer's erroneous claim. Only one sip lid is included for the two blender bottles, so you may want extra blender bottles and sip lids, etc, purchased separately, if you are more than a one-person household. Also a normal size silicone reusable straw will barely peek out the top of the sip lid of the largest bottle 1000ml. 3. Only the water bottle is glass, 750ml Borosilicate glass, and it also has the grippy silicone ends on it, and a SIPPABABLE opening screw top. The metal infusion cage is removable of course while drinking but you do not have to remove it because there is a rubber stopper on the top of it and unless you are an idiot and do not put the rubber stopper on it, the entire contents of the metal cage could be swallowed, I suppose. See the photos of the glass water bottle with the metal infuser contraption, it has a completely solid rubber stopper on top of it. It is completely SOLID RUBBER. There is ZERO CHANCE of anything whatsoever coming out of that cage when you sip through the sip top lid with the metal infuser installed. SEE the photos! 4. The blend power is 1000 Watts! Which is plenty actually, just as good functionally as my commercial Kitchen Aid, and since I rarely use that because it so heavy and too big to leave out on my counter, and too tall to fit under my cabinets, I can finally sell it on FB Marketplace to pay for this beautiful and sleek, and extremely competent Beast, which is really really great (and half the price). The ONLY downside is that you cannot add ingredients to it while it is blending since the entire contents are sealed up and flipped upside down and locked in while blending. 5. There is a quick pulse and a 1 minute on the same button. It is perfect to just hit the button and walk away to return to a perfect smoothie in the morning. It is ideal and exactly what I was looking for. Starting with frozen fruit will produce more frozen smoothies than attempting fresh fruit & ice cubes, if you are new to this sort of thing. Fruit is flash frozen at the farm these days and is often fresher than fresh fruit in the store anyway (try it, this is oddly true of strawberries and blueberries). 6. I love it! I am so excited to have it for my new "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead JUICE DIET" Hail Mary pass to lose weight this winter. Don't be deterred, it is definitely great. In fact I think the Magic Bullet guy invented it, and it is worth every additional penny over the Magic Bullet, and it looks particularly phenomenal next to my white GE Cafe French Door Fridge. It does look very sculptural. But more importantly it performs. I am in now way affiliated with the company nor am I getting paid or compensated for wasting my time on a Saturday night refuting the false claims of that other person. I am just mystified that somebody would bother writing a review full of completely false information that you can see is false in part simply by reading the product description itself as to the glass vs. plastic issue, was further puzzled by their plug for the Magic Bullet instead when this same guy invented BOTH PRODUCTS, and then pushed over the edge by the utterly stupidly false claim that they could not drink out of the infuser bottle without choking on the infusion contents. That was just too too far. Just too far! Ya know? Too far.
