I tried this pair in a windy, 37 degree evening around 11pm... WARM. I kept them on for almost 1 hour... COMFY. I tried running, swinging my head around, and wildly jumping up and down... SECURE. I definitely love this pair of muffs. There finally isn't any parts or pieces behind the fur poking through and bothering my ears and/or head like so many others I've tried. They fit snug and don't slide around at all.. But they aren't so tight to the point of my head or ears feeling painful or constricted. They're adjustable in the center (you can shorten or extend)... So make sure you play around with the adjustment a bit to get it to fit just right for your head, ear, and hair type. I got a white pair for my petite 6 year old daughter, and we figured out we had to put her hair in a pony tail because the weight and looseness of her hair was causing the muffs to slide down after she tried jumping up and down to test them. My 5'2" petite wife also got a white pair and her experience was just as awesome as mine.. (Her hair was already up). We're all very happy with the muffs.. And the 3 of us are all different sized people with very different sized and shaped heads. I think maybe if you get a pair and you don't have the same experience we had, you probably need to exchange it for another pair. (And this should be no cost to you because if they don't work for you, that would mean the seller wasn't accurate in the description). Also.. Even though a product may have the same tag on it, and offered by the same seller, that doesn't actually mean the product is the "same".. Especially with something as cheaply priced as these muffs are -- you can expect some irregularities. (Gratefully we're 3 for 3 in the positive). Basically, I know the "right muffs" are hard to find. Hopefully my review will give you enough ideas to find your ideal muffs in the ones offered by this seller. Peace
