First off, the Hanes and Fruit of the Loom are just a normal T-shirt material; the Amazon Basics is more like sweat pants material that are soft on the inside and normal weave on the outside(much thicker than Hanes or Fruit of the Loom. Pros: Hanes and Fruit of the Loom are tagless. The thinner material for Hanes and Fruit of the Loom make them easier to wear under other pants if it is extremely cold out or you ride a motorcycle. Of course, if you just need pajamas in a warmer house, I recommend the thinner Hanes or Fruit of the Loom. The thicker Amazon basic is truly a lounge around the cold house pair of pajama pants. Cons: Amazon Basics has a tag. The question really is, do you need thick or thin. Tips: Using a tape measure, my waist is 38". Hanes Medium waist not stretched is 32" and stretched 44". 42" Long with a 31.5" inseem. Fruit of the Loom medium waist not stretched is 32" and stretched 44". 43" long with a 30.5" inseem. Amazing Basics Large waist is 34" not stretched and 49" stretched. They are about 43" long from top of waist to bottom and the inseem is 31". Manufacturer Recommendations: Amazon Basics has a tag they need to get rid of. The Hanes and Fruit of the Loom are tagless. I'll do a follow up review later and try to add pictures.
