★★★★☆
Heavy, well built, pretty accurate.
2 instruments in one. A tire inflator, plus a battery operated, accurate digital tire gage, that can be used during inflation, or standalone (i.e it works while not attached to a compressor) . The typical tire inflator has an analog pressure gage, which tends to be inaccurate ( I have 2 of those and I have to use a separate tire pressure gage to verify and fine-tune the pressure). This one measures about 1 PSI hig, It is heavy, and apparently well built, with brass fittings. Came with some extra parts, some sort of an adapter, perhaps for some type of bike tire? Also, some type of extra adapter similar to what you see at gas station tire inflator systems. The "default" adapter that is installed on it is a rubber hose, with an attachment that locks onto the valve stem, not sure why you would need anything else. Came with a standard US residential style compressor hose adapter already installed. The package also included some teflon sealer tape in case you want to switch adapters. Also some sort of extra rubber gasket, no clue what is that supposed to be used for. The instructions do not say much. To be clear the tool came fully assembled and usable as-is, the extra a stuff is a mystery. I guess If you have a need for any of that it will make sense to you. :-) Has to be turned on to get a pressure readout, it takes a couple of AAA batteries ( included) . The readout is switchable between PSI and 2 other options, and once it is set, it remembers the setting. Seems to be accurate. I am impressed.
