First off, I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars because it's not as good as the version that's twice the price in ambient lighting. There's more contrast when looking for urine stains with the higher powered UV light. That being said, this is still a great price if what you're using for is looking for urine stains, particularly at night. Both lights looked like they got items to fluoresce equally. In addition, the casing to this flashlight seems better compared to to the more expensive version because it has a textured grip and is heavier.
