I have fine, porous, highlighted blonde hair. This shower head filter has made a huge difference in two ways: First, my hair is MUCH easier to comb out after it is washed. This has reduced breakage and the snapped-off flyaways. Secondly, my hair now has more density. Even my hairdresser noticed it (without knowing a thing about the shower head). She said, "Wow. Your hair feels great. It has weight!" (A big deal for my hair...) Plus, the water just feels good on my skin. It is gentle and comforting. I hesitate to use the work "silky", because some might interpret that as *greasy*. The worst part of enjoying this shower-head is missing it when I have to take a "regular" shower when I travel. My hair definitely suffers and the shower experience is just not the same.
