After having terrible luck with your standard Summer & Motorola brand monitors with baby #1 we decided that with baby #2 we are going to do more research and spend a little more for a quality product and decided on Miku. With baby#1 the monitors would work ok for a few months then either the night vision would stop working, or the range seemed to get less and less which is extremely frustrating. On top of that the picture quality at night was so terrible everytime we would hear a loud noise or cry we could never really tell what was going on so we ended up going into the room for peace of mind which defeats the purpose of a monitor! Let me tell you Miku is the way to go! HD video quality at night is far superior than anything else we used prior, on top of that not having to worry about being "in range" is amazing. Those two things alone are enough for 5 stars but then throw in sleep tracking, and live breathing and many more options makes Miku to me the best option out there. I cant even remember how many times we would hear a thud or cry and look at the monitor at night or nap time and wonder if the baby is ok? Is something wrong? And would run in the room to check. With the Live breathing and superior camera quality we now never have to worry with baby #2! That peace of mind is priceless. Highly recommend !
