**UPDATE** 7/18/19 Been about four months and the collar is still doing it's job. So, I will definitely be buying this again. The smell didn't last too long either. I decided to give this project a try and I'm pleasantly surprised at how effective it is. It has a pretty strong smell and it was irritating my eyes for a little while, initially. But it didn't harm my dog and has been doing an excellent job at repelling fleas and ticks. I haven't noticed any fleas or ticks on my dog, since using this collar. I live in a pretty wooded area with deer, fox, and other animals that can be see at times. Fleas and ticks are present as well. ESPECIALLY the fleas. So, I'm glad this product has been effective.
