Male in my late 40's . Typical rosacea sufferer ... light complexion , Blonde, blue eyes, Scandanavian lineage. Get pink /red when its hot , very cold , drying winds, sun exposure , spicy food , laughing , nerves, etc... I used to get extremely concience of it which of course made it even worse as i would get red with embarrassment. I would hate hearing " are you sunburned? " ..."are you mad ? " ..." awwww your blushing! " ... heard it all when none of it was the case... im just me, its the way I am. its not a choice to have this skin tone, last time I checked I wasn't a Chameleon. First thing i did to reduce redness was to reduce stress over it . I came to terms with the fact that my skin tone will not look the same as someone from a different ancestry and its ok. Being " comfortable in my own skin " and regaining confidence had done more to reduce redness than anything . What used to cause stress induced rosacea flair up have almost totally disappeared. I still have some redness but not that frequency of glowing red as before. Secondly for me is to use a good facial moisturizer day and night like Cera 've ( especially in the drying of the winter months) , and Cera 've hydrating cleanser to gently remove the products ... next is to reduce direct facial exposure to the sun ... I do apply a light amount of this Eucerin rednessrelief daily and with a light and even application it does help reduce redness. For men its the only " cover" option i found that wont make you look like your wearing make up. Thats the best combination for me I have come up with in years of trial and error. So to summarize... embrace it ... accept it as you will never get rid of rosacea 100%. There is no magic cure , its finding the right combination that works for you. For me , this product is a part of that best combination.
