I had two Keurig machines that I wasn't fond of. The water wasn't really hot and I couldn't find coffee that impressed me. It always seemed so weak and diluted. So I decided to give the KRUPS a try to compare. You give up the convenience of the K-cups, but I wasn't using them anyways. I had purchased one of the reusable K-cup pods and using my own coffee. The problem is I still wasn't happy with the coffee. The KRUPS (at least the one I received) makes the water hotter and the basket is bigger allowing for enough coffee to suit your taste. The Krups comes with a reusable mesh basket filter. I don't like cleaning the filter and prefer the ease of throwing out a paper filter. With this one you can use the small paper filters (1-4 cup) available almost anywhere. I would've preferred they designed the KRUPS with a cone filter rather than a basket filter. From everything I've read, the cone design extracts the most flavor from the coffee. I like the stainless steel tumbler. It looks very sleek and stylish. It does get a little warm when first brewed. There is a 2 year warranty on the KRUPS. The coffee maker has a On/Off switch and another switch to start the brew cycle. It brews a tumbler full in fairly short order. I really like the KRUPS and prefer this over my old Keurig and another single serve brew machine I've tried. It may not be a perfect machine, but for a single serve coffee maker, it's the best I have tried so far. I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ as I'm happy with it. Thanks for Reading - ✌😉
