After reading all the bad reviews of the longevity and underwealming rakes and power and issues with all the electric self cleaning boxes and noting that many of them required expensive special formulated crystal packs and other nonsense recurring charges where the user wasn't given a choice what brand of litter they used, I decided to go with this semi-automated approach. So far so good. Assembled very quickly. None of the problems others reported with the inner grill piece or the clips that hold it together. The molding of the tray door edges to more tightly fit the angle of the wall of the unit it closes against would be desirable. So far, so good. Will revise down the road if I find any issues with it.. This unit was top to bottom aside from the tray door edge which probably doesn't matter very precisely fitted together. It doesn't leak any cat litter when tumbled around. Great value and much easier so far than sifting cat stuff with a scooper. No more back-=breaking squatting and scooping!
