Bottom line is that it works. I'm very fair skinned, covered in scars, and can't tan naturally. I decided to test this lotion on one leg to see how it would develop, how long it took to develop, and what would take it off the skin. I saw results the day I put it on and it looked like a natural tan. I then tried different products to take it off to make sure I wouldn't look like a splotchy mess if I used makeup remover or face wash. The only product I found that will remove minimum about of the product is rubbing alcohol. So, makeup remover and Neutrogena exfoliating face wash is safe!! For the scars. My scars are HUGE. Naturally my scars will stay a shade lighter if I go into the sun. Same case with this lotion; so it looks natural. All my mini scars tanned along with my skin. Notes to equally as fair skinned people: if may clump up into little crystals you're probably rubbing too hard. Remember your underarms/ back of the arm, neck, and inside the bellybutton (guess who missed it). Wait till you go to bed to do the hands so you don't end up washing all of it off and your hands don't match your arms. I put the lotion on two days in a row and then waited about 2-3 days to put another layer on. I don't want to be super super tan just yet. Regardless, you will see a change!!
