My wife and I wanted to try a Bidet-Toilet, but we did not have an electrical plug in our toilet, so we chose one of this non-electric seats. Good points: - The seat is very easy to install. It took me around 15-20 minutes, and that is also because we were taking a video. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow - The spray is powerful enough (at least in my installation) to achieve its cleaning function - The seat looks nice and stylish (I have the overlapping one) - The seat has soft close function, which means you can just "drop" the covers and they will gently lower until the cover position by themselves Bad points: - The seat is made of thing plastic, and does not feel "premium" at all. At this price, I was expecting something a little heavier / sturdier - The "hole" in the seat is somehow small. This is not a problem and it is to avoid spraying outside, but it looks a little weird - Since this is not electrical, the water is NOT warm. The feeling of getting my... you know... sprayed with cold water was not that great at first, but I am growing used to it - The covers sometimes don't stay upright, and fall back to closed by themselves Other tips: - NEVER open the cover if the spray is on, it will spray water all around your toilet. Make sure it is in "neutral" before opening it - Make sure to check the size of your toilet. Mine is actually a little too big, so the seat looks smaller. It is still usable, but I wish I would have checked better before installing it Overall, I am happy with this Bidet, but as with other options in Amazon in this price range, it still feels a somehow "budget" option. If you are ok with the average plastic material and room-temperature water, this is a perfectly functional, easy to install bidet. But if you want a Japanese-hotel experience, you better get an electrical one!
