I bought these to locate my dogs and cats in case they escaped. We have lots of coyotes here so I worry about my small pets. These work great in our neighborhood where many people have their apple devices on during the day. I hoped to never need to use it in “lost mode”, but did today- my puppy got out of his martingale collar while walking and disappeared while on our street. We were able to locate him within 10 mins. The accuracy was excellent, it showed he was in the right corner of a neighbor’s yard down the street, and when we drove there, sure enough, there he was! Looking innocent, and happy to see us. There is no way we would have found him so quickly without this. He is a puppy and gets distracted easily, does not always come when called. But doesn’t run far from us either. He was clearly lost and looking for us too. The AirTag only works within a few feet radius of an apple device but it got us close enough to find him quickly. This was worth every penny to locate him quickly. The app was easy and intuitive to use, so even a panicked dog owner can enable lost mode quickly. Highly recommend it!
