After trying 3 other Air Fryer brands in which all were returned. I must say that the Simple Chef was going to be it for me. I was greatly surprised. Although, my biggest issue with the previous brands was more in the structure of the unit. The Simple Chef meet all my expectations . The unit is well made of strong material. The drawl slides in and out easly with no struggle, by which I found to be a defect in 2 of the previous 3. The cooking time and quality were superb being in line with 2 of the 3 previous tried. I have cooked pork chops, home fries cut from real potatoes, sweet potato fries, Fried chicken, squash, pot pie, baked apples, rosted califlower. All came out verry, very good. I was so surprised how much everything tasted no different than if it had been cooked on the traditional stove. I purchased for health reasons but, it is also a great way to cook if you are blind as far as safety reasons. Clean up is a breeze, just simply run through hot water or throw in dish washer. No greese to smell or clean. Your kids can even operate with ease and will love it! Update.... Well, the cooking was great as I previously stated however, I did return because 1 week to the day of purchase Piece's of the drawl started to chip off. This was a great disappointment since I already expirienced similar issues with other Air Fryer's and the drawl issue. 1 drawl did not slide in or out easy nor evenly. 2. Drawl did not slide in or out evenlyand chipping of the drawl. 3. this one had a nice swing out door which was much better but, after several uses the door seemed to have melted on one side. As I said, they all cooked great only wish the companies would come up with a better style. I am afraid with the issues I encountered the problem would only increase over time.
