I tend to buy either Eddie Bauer. Patagonia or Land's End vests. I usually buy medium in Eddie Bauer and I used to buy medium in Land's End but more recently I've been buying small in Land's End. This is just to give other shoppers an idea as sizing is the hardest aspect of buying clothes on Amazon as sizing, between all the different manufacturers, is all over the place. I am 5' 6" and weigh around 116 lbs. Chest size 33-34 inches. This medium fit me very well--a closer fit than the other brands I mentioned above. Not too big and not too snug. I can see no loose seams or threads here. This is a very nice quality vest and due to the band on the back, it's a more shaped, flattering fit. From the back of the neck (not the neckband) to the bottom seam it measures just over 24 inches. It has just the right amount of sheen and the material is soft. I really love this vest and I'll be wearing it a lot.
