Brought this faux tree stump footstool into the house and the real tree stump I had in the corner immediately became territorial. I could tell from the way Stumpy was posturing and showing signs of anxiety he believed the faux stump was an unwelcome intruder to his home. I wasn't able to calm him and in time his anxiety increased to the point where it was just no longer safe to have him in the house. Eventually adopted him out to a stump rescue agency. Luckily the faux stump footstool has settled right in and acts like she's been here all along. Plus no more unsightly messes like my real stump used to leave.
