I found this fat separator through a recommendation made on America's Test Kitchen. I had always wanted a fat separator, and the design of this model made a lot of sense, so I ordered it. The delivery was quick and ideal. The product arrived before I would be making a huge Christmas Eve dinner. This product made those last frantic moments before serving the meal SO MUCH easier, and the gravy was thee very best I had ever made. I felt good knowing that I had been able to EASILY remove the fat from the turkey droppings. I've not used the free gift of the peeler, yet, but it appears to be well made and very functional. Great product.
