Absolutely necessary for the watch lover. Paying money to adjust links and change batteries is a hassle. This pays for itself very quickly. Between the two of us we have about 20 watches. Can't believe we didnt get this sooner. The only thing I will say is that the watch holder could use some rubber for better holding and doesn't fit the bigger/bulkier mens watches the best.
