I ordered these blinds as well as the "Bali" brand blinds to compare. Both are the same price for the size I needed and since they are going in my garage, I figured it would be a good chance to test out both. The Achim Brand is better in nearly every way. Light filtering is higher , The gear mechanism is metal vs plastic on other brands , the pull is smoother , the angle adjustment turns easier. The only downside is I prefer the traditional mounting design of the Bali blind. The Achim blind uses two clear plastic clips that you flex into position. It is very sturdy but I prefer the older design. After testing both brands I bought 3 more of the Achim blinds. In picture, Achim is on the left and Bali brand is on the right. Difference in light filtering is obvious.
