Early potty training is a plus
To address the comment about early potty training being abusive.... it's not. As long as the parent is offering loving guidance to familiarize the process with no undue pressure or unreasonable expectations then it can be very rewarding for both baby and parent. There are also helpful signs that a baby is ready to start ie can sit upright, hold their own pee, take off own diaper, shows curiosity and indicates/ communicates interest with body/sign language etc.
Bear in mind please that outside of the USA that most infants are completely potty trained just being held over the regular toilet by around age 1. This is especially true in the Asian countries ie China, Japan where it is common place and totally the norm.
Something of interest to note is that many of their bathrooms both public and private are the squatty potty kind where you walk in and squat down to do your business. People in those countries are surveyed to have quicker and healthier bowel movements too.
Hope this was helpful.
