These are great cables. A lot of the newer devices have power requirements were the traditional 1 Amp cables are just not going to do a good job. Those old cables just don’t supply enough current to charge them quickly, so I find myself replacing a lot of the cables I have for newer ones like these that can handle the higher currents. I was able to charge my phone using a Quick Charge 3.0 charger without any problems and in the same time it takes with the OEM cable. And as you can see in my photo, I am able to get almost 2 Amps through to my phone. Additionally, these cables are protected by the nylon braiding, which in my opinion looks and feels much sturdier than the old-style plastic/rubber cables… Plus they look nice too. The ends seem well protected with a flexible housing so, I don’t think the cable ends will fray as I’ve had on other cables. It seems to me that the remainder housing is made out of metal, which should also help with durability. Anyway, for the price I was really pleased to get five cables. To me, the 3-foot length is probably the most versatile. Sure, sometimes you need those super long cables, but 3 feet is good enough for most applications. I can never have enough of these around! One thing though, is that the item photos show that these have the blue USB ends which typically means USB 3.0, but they really don’t. Just as the description says, they are USB 2.0.
