I bought this sleeper chair to go in the corner of my 4 year old sons room to take the place of a rocking chair that has been in there since he was born. He is autistic and very energetic and every night after we put him to bed these days he spends an hour trashing his room. He's put holes in the walls from over turning and jumping off the rocking chair so I wanted to get something soft and sturdy to go in that corner. I was looking for something we could sit on to read stories together, something that he could jump off of and also something that won't hurt him or our walls or window if he overturns it. This is the PERFECT thing!!! It arrived in a relatively timely manner and well packaged. I couldn't believe how they managed to fit it in such a small box! It comes vacuum sealed and the moment the plastic is punctured it returns to its actual size in seconds and you would never know it had ever been squished! Pros: - Very comfortable seat for a child or adult. Back rest is sturdy but not very high for an adult. I'd say it's comfortable enough to sit in for 20-30 minutes though. - SUPER easy to fold and unfold from seat to bed position. Just two very firm velcro straps to deal with. - The materials used are very high quality. This isn't something that's going to unravel or fall apart any time soon - Looks modern and chic and would be great as an accent chair in any room, especially with decorative pillow or a blanket draped over it - In bed form this is surprisingly wide and comfortable! The foam is firm enough not to droop, sink or sag but also incredibly soft as well - Unlike other similar chairs, the foam is very thick, making it a taller seat (easier to get up and down) and also a better bed Cons: - In bed form, it's not long enough for anyone taller than about 5'7" to sleep on. That's how tall I am and even I was right at the edge. - In bed form the back rest just becomes awkward. It's definitely too tall to lay your head on straight up and down but tilted back makes kind of a nice incline for the head if you put a regular pillow on it. Still, that aspect is a bit awkward. - Heaven help you if you even need to remove the cover for washing. It isn't easy. I tried once and gave up, opting to use Shout spray and a wet rag instead. All in all I am VERY pleased with this seat as it is exactly what I wanted for my purposes. I think it would make a PERFECT bed for child sleep overs or for a small adult. When my son is sick in the middle of the night this will make the perfect thing for me to lay on and sleep by his bed instead of laying on the hard floor with a pillow and blanket like I've done before. It's the perfect size and plenty wide for my son and me to sit on to read stories together before bed as well. I HIGHLY recommend this for a childs room or for an entertainment room.
