My Euro Pro Spa manicure set quit working a few months ago. I am now diabetic and really need to be able to do good foot care. My hand grip is getting too weak to always be able to cut the thicker toe nails with a heavy duty clipper. Was not finding what I wanted until I came across the PureNails products here. I liked the coil cord and grooming light. Charging the old unit or replacing batteries interfered with when I needed to use it too often. The cord is no problem, it fits securely into the unit and the speed is consistent. I was also pleased to find the direction of rotation can be changed which can help in some spots. Does warm up with a long session so be careful to check the time when you start to let it cool off after 20 minutes. I like the saphire filing discs are slightly smaller than the base - creating a very small lip farther out from the disc which prevents skin abrasion when filing tight spaces. The attachments go in and come out easily, sit securely when running, do what they are supposed to with the high speed option hardly needed. The fifth star is for the light. Even if the place being filed is not in the beam while getting treated, a quick back off gives a very well lit view.
