We purchased two of these watches for our boys for Christmas and they love them! We love them too. This level of tech at this price point is almost impossible to beat. We did a lot of research and there are not many options in the United States for 4G GPS kids smart watches. There are a few things that I wish we knew ahead of time that would have made things a lot easier for us. 1. Mobile Service - We went to both AT&T and T-Mobile and neither company could help us activate it. T-Mobile said that if we were existing customers that they could potentially put us on a plan. So, We decided to go with SpeedTalkMobile. We ordered the SIM cards through Amazon and it was pretty easy to set up. It’s actually going to be the best option for us because it’s a prepaid plan with no contract. For kids like ours, ages 9 and 7, being on a $60 a month mobile plan makes no sense at all. With SpeedTalkMobile we pay $5 a month for 250mb of data. If it runs out, we just add more. Easy! 2. The App - The app that the watch uses is called SeTracker2. It’s iOS and Android compatible. We use it on our iPhones and it works really well. The app locates their position via GPS, allows us to see all of their messages, calls, and allows us to set their alarms, schedules and has so many other features. So far, the only thing that I don’t like about the app is that the geofencing will only allow a minimum of 200m. Geofencing is basically an invisible fence that you can set to make sure that your kids don’t wander off. Oh, and we also hate the ads. Although you can turn them off for a couple of dollars. SeTracker2 is also the only app that can be used with these watches. Sucks because we would love to give the “FindMyKids” app a try. Overall, the watch is amazing! It definitely has its quirks but like I said earlier... for this level of tech at this price, I’m not sure that it can be beaten. I hope this helps someone. Peace!
