I agree with other reviewers that this is an awesome pill cutter. I can only add something for those of us who are mechanically challenged. If you've never seen one it is a bit of a puzzle when you first remove the top. However, you will see four small white buttons, each with a groove by it. Place your thumb on one of these buttons and push out and around toward the groove. Now you can see the adjustable slot for your pills. So where is the blade? If you look in the top and have good eyesight, you will see "Caution: sharp blade under. Do not depress this shield." Then you will understand that when you replace the top and press down to close the gap, the blade comes out and cuts all your pills like a razor.
