My daughter loves this Salt Lamp and keeps it plugged in all day long in her room. She said it helps her breathe easier (she has asthma, allergies, and COPD) and is a conversation piece for anyone who sees it. She did say it gives off a lot of energy and that's why she turns it off at night, but that might not be a problem for everyone. She said this size salt lamp would also be great in an office or kitchen. She likes that has a dimmer so you can adjust the amount of light it puts off. She even grated one of the salt rocks one day when a recipe she was making called for Himalayan Salt. My daughter is picky about the quality of items she displays in her home so if she raved about it, this lamp must be good. I loved the price point and how economical it was to provide a useful, beautiful piece of lighting.
