Well let me start out with the story on how I got this. Initially when I was going to buy speakers I narrowed my choice down, it was between the Sony HT-CT380 and the Sony HT-XT1. So I went down to Best Buy fired them both up and was pretty disappointed with the CT380, the sound was really thin and was nothing like I was expecting. The Clarity was good but the bass was so bad, it was really noticeable. I then went and checked out my other option, it was the Sony HT-XT1 and I was much more impressed. That is a Sound base not a Sound Bar, basically it's the type of speaker that your TV sits on top of and does not include a sub but the quality was noticeably better and the design was sweet. I had my eye firmly on this, I than decided to walk down and check out the other sound bars as I was there already, the next thing that caught my eye was an LG Sound bar that was $200 off and sounded pretty good, but having a Sony 4K TV I think I had a bit of a Sony bias in my mind than it happened. I saw two other sound bars, it was a this Klipsch R-10B and the JBL SB400. When I listened to both, these two were far and away the two best sound bars that they had on display. So the Klipsch was priced $150 higher than the JBL, so of course I had my eye on the JBL did some tinkering with both and made up my mind I'd go with the JBL. Then I decided to check Amazon and sure enough, the price of the Klipsch was the same as the JBL, also the reviews were noticeably higher with a lot of people complaining about the Bluetooth on the JBL so sure enough, I went home and ordered the Kllipsch. So here I am, I ordered the Klipsch and once it was delivered the box it comes in is gigantic (See pictures) and when I opened the box I was impressed how well and smart everything was organized. I unboxed it quickly and hooked it up,the interesting thing about this sound bar it only uses one optical cable which controls the sound instead of a bunch of HDMI ports that everyone else seems to use. I have had zero issues with the Optical only cable and the clarity is just fantastic. It synced with my TV automatically so when I put my TV on it automatically turns the soundbar on, really cool. It also shuts down after a while when I turn off my TV. One of the biggest issues with my Sony 4K TV and why I considered a sound bar was the sound when playing games was either too high or it was too low. I was in the process of playing Walking Dead (Telltale Games) and when the characters spoke it would be too low and than all of a sudden it would be too high, without doubt this sound bar fixed that. The sound has many different volume levels so configuring to the right level it a breeze. The wireless sub is incredible and is the real star of the show this it plays movies and games so thoroughly and never once has it felt like it was straining, it definitely has to be the best in class or near. This comes with a really small remote (note even credit card sized) and it functions and works well, but I can imagine misplacing it should be easy. The only Cons of this are two things first, as mentioned the remote is so small losing this will most likely happen at some point unless you're really careful and the design leaves a little to be desired. The second issue is that the Bass can only be controlled via a knob on the back of the sub, I personally don't care that much but I could imagine someone would dislike this. Finally, the last issue is that this is a huge sound bar folks, so don't think it's going to fit on just anything, make sure you know the dimensions before buying it, but it's a good looking device.Overall I rate this a 5 stars and must say Klipsch great job! Update 4-8-16 I just wanted to give an update close to 6 months later and I wanted to say, this thing has completely lived up to it's expectations. I have never had a reliability based issue with this speaker since I have owned it, and the look and feel of it is still like new. With me being a huge NBA Basketball fan, watching ESPN and TNT on this is like taking the broadcast to another level. Just the voices of analysts and the clarity of people running up and down the court is surreal, great job to Klipsh! I certainly will be buying another Klipsch sound bar in the future. If I could go back today, I would still give this a 5 stars, it is definitely worth the price of admission and is a purchase you are not likely to regret. Update 8-10-18 Insane, it's been 3 years since I bought these speakers (Still have my Bravia as well) and it still sounds like the day I bought it and still looks brand new! Amazing, I haven't even considered a new soundbar since these have been so amazing. My next soundbar most likely will be another Klipsch soundbar, once they got Dolby Atmos, that'll be when I make my move, this just a great product all around and Klipsch should be proud..
