I enjoy camping and backpacking, and as such, I can never get enough headlamps and lights The headlamp arrived well packaged in a presentation package that would make it a nice gift to give to your favorite outdoor enthusiast. The device runs on 3 AAA batteries, and I was extremely pleased to see that the package included batteries & as a bonus we got 2 wristband reflectors- awesome! The headlamp itself is sturdy, with an adjustable angle and one buttons that control the features - One thing I really liked about this lamp, was the ease in installing batteries. For example, I have another brand lamp and the battery case is extremely quirky to open. Not so with this device - the battery compartment is easily opened, you just load the batteries and close it again. Perfect in a pinch when you need to quickly swap out dying batteries. I had the chance to take it on a test run during a night time cookout. The buttons were intuitively placed, light intensity was easily cycled, and the lights are very bright. So overall, for the price, this is a tremendous value, and a great part of anyone's camping set or outdoor gear. This one's definitely a keeper and I would highly recommend to others too.
