Visually appealing and seemingly well built. As per the instructions I fully charged the unit with the charging cable before using. After charging I drained the battery by charging my phone with it about 5 times. I then placed the unit in the Florida sun each day for about 4 or 5 hours per day. It took 6 days in the sun to fully charge the unit. Works how it is intended but be aware that solar charging should not be relied upon as the primary method of charging as it does take some time. Still, very useful for charging devices when out on a multi day backpacking trip. I have not left it in the rain yet to test how water proof it is.
