First, let me get this part out of the way; the color of the headphones is totally misrepresented on the product page. I bought the blue version of these phones. Oh, they're blue alright, but kind of a periwinkle, soft baby blue. Yikes! They ARE NOT the deeper navy blue as represented on the page. This bothered me at first because I really like it when I get what I order and pay for as it's represented on it's page. HOWEVER, I charged 'em up anyway and decided to give 'em a listen. I'm glad I did because these suckers SHRED! Since I'm a devout basshead, I prefer extremely DEEP, DARK, POUNDING BASS. It helps my throbbing eardrums when the deep beats are paralleled with CRISPY, TASTY, JUICY TREBLE that offsets the thickness. I put my trusty old school "Fear of a Black Planet" by Public Enemy to the test (care not, I do if you don't like- put on something that you prefer to this test) and I suddenly broke into tears of joy and disbelief upon exposure to the first few beats that made their way to my bass starved eardrums. Now, I could care less about the baby blanket blue hue. These bad boys rock the hardcore jams! The Bluetooth 4.1 is a major bonus as I stepped through different rooms in my crib and left my phone in the farthest room and NEVER lost the extremely strong & clear signal. The quality of the build and materials are also surprisingly good. Very comfortable after a couple of hours of steady use. I suggest picking up a set of your own if you want mind-blowing sound for a very reasonable price. Bring the Bass!
