Getting these couch covers on my couch was nothing more than comical. I was continuously laughing at myself trying to figure out what part went where but after I finally figured out where to begin, it was smooth sailing. The polyester material is a very soft and comfortable. I was worried about the covers fitting because our couches are a little bigger but they fit great, not big to where there is sagging and not small where it pops off and your cushions stick out. The spandex in it made it perfectly easy to stretch the cover tighter and under your couch. It was a little hard with the back pillows since they need to be elevated when you put the cover on and then slide the bottom cushions in separately. I also love how there is no skirt at the bottom, to me it makes it look a little out-dated. The cover up has a band around the bottom which wraps under the couch and around the legs of your couch. Our couches were a light green, it was the first purchase my boyfriend and myself had made together and we decided to try something different with the green but eventually we both grew over the green. We've never owned cover-ups but we've had a great experience with this purchase. The Gray is between medium and dark. UPDATE: I ended up returning these couch covers. After the first day I noticed they were more of a dark gray-blue and it seemed like I couldn't keep the bottom down from showing the couch or the cushions. I believe that reviews are solely for customers who are interested in learning more about a product before deciding to purchase.
