It's well made and sturdy, but still small and lightweight It has the option for batter back up The buttons are simple and functional, no unnecessary fluff It is easy to set the time, alarm time, and alarm on/off The display brightness is easily adjustable The snooze button is large and easy to press The volume is loud enough to wake whomever is in the room but loud enough to hear down the hall
