Returned a Kitchenaid that arrived and did not pass muster and got this to replace it. This unit is as powerful, works better and cost a lot less money. I'd have loved to have supported a U.S. manufacturer, but am not willing to pay more for a shoddy product to do it. The Kitchenaid showed up already adjusted to the end of its range, but still not where it needed to be to mix properly.
