2500 cans and still works great!
To all the reviews saying this is junk and breaks, I just put about 2500 cans through mine (quarantine was rough) and I have a few thoughts. First, it succeeded. Second, I lubed it first, because I knew it would be put though a lot, so I recommend that. I just used lock lube. It is still functional and well worth $17. Definitely go for the bigger one, because cans come in all shapes and sizes these days and you won't regret it. Yes, a little paint came off and the rubber got a little torn with all the sharp aluminum, but all that saves cutting your hands open. My only real complaint is that if installed flat on a wall, the handle wants to fall down. This can be remedied by simply tipping the top crusher piece or installing a small section of 2x4 between the crusher and the wall so the handle can sit back further. Lastly, to the people complaining you have to dent the can first, you guys do realize a can is specially designed to be as strong as possible? You can literally stand your full weight on an empty can and it will hold you right up until you flick the side of the can, then it will crush. It takes an immense amount of force to crush an intact can, but introduce the slightest imperfection and it crushes easily. So, it's only going to make it harder on you and the crusher not to give it a little dent. Personally, I dent all my beers anyways to help keep track of mine. Hope this review helps, if you're on the fence.
