As a seasoned RN with an advanced degree and a Director of Home Health when my own mum had a “Jiffy Hip” I had one ordered. Installation was as simple as lifting up the toilet seat, placing the new product on the ceramic bowl and turning the knob located in the front of the equipment. My mum used it on first night home from Sentara in Williamsburg. I was impressed with the quality of Drive Products and after 30 years in the industry I trusted this product with my mums bum and incision site. I do recommend ordering in advance of surgery and also recommend ordering a bedrail to assist with rotating and manuerving oneself in bed post op. In addition we had a detachable shower head installed and grab handles for use once in the shower. Very nice product which she is very pleased with and likes to brag to her tennis friends her daughter knows her stuff. The device is easily packed away once no longer needed.
