Great video card.
Keep in mind: • I did NOT preorder this product. • I know it is essentially the equivalent to a 1080Ti in terms of speed. • I am upgrading from a GTX 1060 (6GB). • I am willing to bet on a positive future for raytracing. This graphics card had been a great experience so far. I've gotten the speeds I was expecting. It's a beautiful graphics card with a sleek grayish/silver and see-through body, and has full rgb control. The only real cons I have to establish are as follows: • It's not really an upgrade from a 1080Ti. I wouldn't even upgrade from a 1080 or 1080Ti if you have one. • The RGB LED lights could be brighter. Even at their highest setting they're dull. I have a feeling this could be fixed with a fix to the EVGA Percision X software. • (Software) The EVGA Percision X software designed for the RTX series is currently very unstable, causing 'brown-outs' or complete shutdowns of your computer. Best to manually overclock it or leave it alone. • My unit has not been easy to overclock by hand compared to my MSI GTX 1060 6GB • RTX's performance heavily depends on the developer of the game you're running. No matter what, expect to lose a lot of frames. Not a good feature for competitive multiplayer games. 3-year edit: I regret nothing, especially after the supply flop that was the 3000-series. Had friends waiting it out for the 3080 and they're still waiting or simply gave up.
