This is an amazing tool for all dog owners. My German shepherd loves to run. There’s no way for me to run with him I can’t keep up. Taking him to the dog park isn’t always a good idea, I never know what other dogs will be there and if they will get along. This way both of us get Exercise and spend time together. I first connected his collar to the hook, then walked my bike about 20 feet or so, just enough for him to see he was connected and should walk along side of the bike. When I saw he wasn’t nervous or confused I got on the bike and began to ride. It just clicked. He knew instantly what was going on. The first turn I did very wide to get him used to turning with it.
