Taste test, w most favorable ranked at #1. #1 Matchabar at $14.45/oz. #2 purechimp at $8.70/oz #3 Sencha $2.31/oz Matchabar and Purechimp final price is with Amazon's subscribe and save. They are both marketed as ceremonial grade, whereas Sencha is culinary. Big difference in price. Matchabar and Purechimp close taste test, but Matchabar has more umami to me. Sencha is bitter if you don't add enough sweetener, I don't prefer drinking it. Starbucks uses culinary grade cause I noticed theirs is bitter and not smooth like ceremonial matcha. I have bought more pricier ones like Encha ceremonial grade. I would definitely buy Purechimp again as it doesn't have the bitter taste like culinary grade matcha.
