My VHS version of this suddenly stopped working. The sound was all scratchy, and the picture kept jerking. So, I read some reviews so that I could take note: "Too green was the Grinch, and too red was his coat". Another one stated that "the sound was not right", while others would say that it was a delight. So, I ordered a copy and gamble I would. Will the "Fah Who Foraze" be misunderstood? But, what I have found is perfectly timed sound, and colors looked as they should. Oh what a sight, so vivid and bright. So much better than the VHS version, that was such a fright. The bonus material, I haven't viewed, save the Cat in the Hat, and I don't mean to be rude. It was quite boring, and the animation looked crude. But, with a 30 minute feature, they have to add stuff, even if the material looks so very rough. A Blu Ray has space, more space than enough. The online codes, some said they weren't there, but I looked in mine and I'm happy to share. The code worked well and I can watch this anywhere. So, if you need a copy of the classic Grinch, don't hesitate at all, for this will work in a pinch. Your family will love you and you'll have many joys, watching Betty Lou Who get back all her toys.
