Great quality portable keyboard! Minor learning curve.
My thorough video review as someone who types 100+ wpm on standard computer keyboards. So can you still type fast on a keyboard like this? Is it too small like some keyboards tend to be? Watch my video and see!
Note: I've owned the keyboard for one day and made this video review the next day, after I felt I'd gotten familiar enough with it.
I'm trying not to put too many details here if I've already said them in the video, but I'll say this: overall I like it. It's durable, I can type fast on it, it's wireless, and it folds up. Take your keyboard with you! How cool is that? Now when I need to type some emails or messages, this keyboard will come to my rescue. I hate typing on touch screens. It's the one thing I never liked about mobile devices.
There are a couple things that differ this from a regular keyboard that may really bug people who are used to typing 100% properly, which isn't me. I'm a rebel and don't use my pinky like I'm supposed to. I kinda have my own typing style, but anyway:
1: Right shift isn't standard size; it's small and so the up arrow is where I was expecting shift to be. Minor; left shift is normal.
2: The whole number row is moved over one to the right. This will throw off those who don't look at the keyboard while typing. I still tend to look at the number keys while I type so I can adjust. (update 1 month later: I am still getting the numbers wrong... this has been the biggest problem now, I can't seem to get used to it. I type 1 instead of 2 all the time)
P.S. If you're getting the language pop up when you capitalize letters (shift+space actually), it's the Samsung Keyboard I believe, and the way I fixed it required rooting. So I rooted, then used a program to move the .apk file of the Samsung Keyboard to a different folder (rather than deleting it forever). Works perfectly and I can always move it back!
Now watch the video please! :) This is a good little keyboard!
