Definitely consider these enzymes if you're having problems with your gut health
I'm now on my second bottle of Zenwise digestive enzymes. I've had digestive issues (constipation...ugh...), related to a condition called scleroderma. I also recently contracted Candida because of the lack of motility in my bowels, plus I was prescribed an immunosupressant medication which included an antibiotic and this basically obliterated the good bacteria in my gut. The constipation has improved somewhat, which is a relief. I'm hoping as I continue to use these enzymes it'll continue to improve. I will update my review at the end of my second bottle. This may influence my decision whether I'll purchase another. Before purchasing these enzymes I read many other reviewers comments which were positive. I then researched each ingredient included in these digestive enzymes. All of the ingredients are legitimately needed for your gut to fully digest the food you consume plus they are all natural. You will though need to take another probiotic because these enzymes don't contain enough to benefit your gut. I'd highly urge for you to consider this because a probiotic is so important for digestive health. The recommended amount of probiotics are multiple strains and at least 50 billion cfu/gram. I'm taking Intelligent Lab's which have both of these properties. I bought them here on Amazon. They are $40 for a two month supply. There are many others that are less expensive but they don't compare. If you're serious about improving your gut health you really should consider doing this. So... I've already recommended these digestive enzymes to someone else and I'd highly recommend you try them. This is my honest review and I did not receive this product at a discount or for free (or did I receive Intelligent Lab's). I hope this helps with your decision.
Update, October 24, 2017:
Things are seeming better within my gut. I'm actually not going days without heading for the bathroom...I know...TMI?? I've also been feeling more healthy, with more energy, alertness and just a feeling of good well-being. I am though following a whole food diet and using other supplements like pre and probiotics, coconut, fish and flax oil. I also take wheatgrass tablets from Amazing Grass, which are tasteless and you can find them here on Amazon. The founder of Zenwise contacted me a little while after I purchased my second bottle to see how things were going with it. He answered my questions and was very helpful.
To sum it up, I'm going to continue to use these digestive enzymes. All of the ingredients included in this supplement provide you with what you need for better gut health. As a nurse, I do believe that it helps not only to break down the food you eat, but to also allow your gut to absorb more of the nutrients.
