I almost sent this back because it kept leaking. It took a little experimenting over the sink with water instead of honey, but I figured out the problem. I noticed that when you tighten the top, if you overtighten. it leaks because the stopper has to sit just right and overtightening makes it sit askew. I know this seems counterintuitive - tightening should push the stopper in further, making a better seal. I felt a little click when I did this (overtightened), so I simply loosened it slightly, you'll feel the little click, and nothing leaked out! I have had it full of honey, on the counter for two days now and not a drip!
