For those that want to compare the Sr. to the Original VFan I have included pictures. I don't have a noise meter but I think the larger Sr. and Original are quiet fans. Both fans have their place in a home. The Original in my opinion should be in a smaller room and the Sr. in a larger room. Neither fan will blow you away but both put out a good quantity of air. If your buying a fan for the most versatility and size doesn't matter buy the Sr. The Sr. can do what the Original can do. If space and weight is an issue buy the Original. The Jr. is smaller than both of these models. I am happy with my purchases of the Original and Sr. Date: 05/19/2016 The Sr started making a very annoying clicking sound. I found a piece of metal in the cage area of the fan. I called Vornado to get help on what to do next. The wait time for a representative was approximately 1.3 minutes. I was expecting a long waiting time. The Vordnado rep was informed of the problem. I held the phone close to the fan so the rep could hear the noise coming from the Sr. The rep made arrangements for UPS to pick up the Sr. I called Vornado as instructed by the 1st rep after UPS picked up the Sr. Wait time for a rep once again was approximately 1.3 minutes. The 2nd rep issued another fan and it arrived in approximately 5 to 6 days. Postage to pick up and delivery the fans was free of charge. Bravo Vornafo you really do have a true 5 year warranty and Vornado made it super easy. I never had super easy before with warranty work. Vornado stands by their product and I recommend this company. Since this event I bought another Vornado for my bathroom. As long as Vornado continues to do business like I described I will continue to do business with Vornado.
