For reference, I ordered 3 boxes. 2 boxes of 6A/462 & 1 box of 6AA/542 I combined them all, and used almost all 3 boxes on my head, with little to spare. The color is what I imagined/anticipated. I had faded purple hair with light beige blonde underneath. My roots are a mousy brown, I had a half inch regrowth. Covered everything and lightened my roots. Came out exactly how I wanted.
