After switching to non-aluminum deodorants 2 years ago, I have found that this deodorant works for me and my very fragrant underarms. Best of all it's cheap. My first tip is that, these non-aluminum deodorants seem a tad less effective than what I was used to, so I use this product in conjunction with a dab of coconut oil applied first. Coconut oil seems to eliminate existing odors and it prolongs effectiveness of deodorants. Coconut oil is not enough by itself, at least for me, and sometimes I feel I can barely get away with just mineral deodorant, so together they work like a charm. My second tip is that, for me, the effectiveness of any deodorant, containing aluminum or not, eventually seems to wear off, so I switch to Thai crystal for a while. Then when that one loses effectiveness I switch back to this one. I read this is because the ratio of different bacteria changes over time as you use one deodorant. Hope this helps if you have these issues.
