1 minute after she turned it on my daughters comment was "holy s***". She had bought a high end SUP this year and choose a inflatable because it is easy to store. What she did not realize it the extreme effort required to inflate it. Inflating at home and carrying on the car is a pain, likely not good for the board because she has to put it flat on her car. Manually pumping it up at the beach left her exhausted. She tried a less expensive compressor but it was useless junk and she had to finish up the fill with the manual pump. We bit the bullet and bought this figuring Amazon would allow a return if the product promises were lies. Within 1 minute the board looked inflated (actually only at 5lbs). It took about 5 minutes before it hit full inflate. We were in the house and could hear it run, noticed when it shut off, but it was not horribly loud. The unit is small and weighs less than 5lbs. It can only be plugged into the car, no 110 power. The plastic housing does not feel really strong. We did purchased the 3 year protection plan so we know we will get at least this long out of it or we will get a new one/refund. I will update this review at the end of summer.
