Updating to 5 starts for customer service** PLEASE READ IF YOURE ASSEMBLING: This is a sturdy, nice looking, rustic coat/shoe bench. I really like it and will keep it but there is a serious design flaw that can "trick" you into destroying your bench. When assembling the bench, you have a large bag of screws in 2 sizes, long and short. Every piece of the rack is assembled using these 2 sizes of screws.. EXCEPT the bench. The way the bench is designed, you think the long screws are used for one of the support bars that connect to it since they are the ones that would fit (the short ones wont reach and tighten). WRONG! The manufacturer has included 2 "medium" screws that are in a totally different bag hidden by a variety of other stuff.. If you dont notice this, YOU WILL DRILL RIGHT THROUGH THE BENCH!. BE CAREFUL and make a specif note about which screws you are using. Look for the 2 medium screws.
